Halloween in NYC

The Good:

Halloween is a time to dress up; a costume is a reason to assume a new identity and be anyone for the night. Be the man you’ve always wanted to be, you pansy (NOT Austin Powers). The ladies are thinking the exact same thing. You do the math.

The Bad:

The parade technically only lasts from 7-10:30pm. Oh wait, this is NYC, which doesn’t sleep. Never mind, there’s nothing bad about Halloween in NYC!

Other awesome weekends here: Marathon weekend in November (main party is Sunday morning), St. Patrick’s Day, Santa-Con or nearly any weekend day or night.

Halloween in NYC

Halloween is the best party in one of the greatest cities in the world. The whole City goes off, particularly the Village, where the Parade enables natives and tourists to show off their crazy sides and let their imaginations run rampant.

Midweek bachelor parties can be tough, but this one is worth it. You’ll also find great parties the Saturday before, which used to include the insane Hoboken (NJ) Halloween parade but apparently it’s been cancelled.

New York City, though, is usually the place to be, so gather your crew, costume up, and get ready to see the most outrageous costumes, people, and good times of your life.

Bachelor10 Tip:

Get there early and pre-game so you can scope out the nearby bars for afterwards, meet the talent early, and ensure you hit the parade feeling good. If you are going to walk the parade you must be dressed and have to enter on 6th Ave between Canal and Spring (from the East and South).
