Chicago Cut Steakhouse

Chicago Cut Steakhouse

300 N Lasalle
Near North Side, River North
(312) 329-1800

Recognized by everybody from Esquire to Time Out as one of the best new steakhouses of 2011, Chicago Cut is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on Chicago’s steak scene. And rightfully so. Their beef is perfection; the result of another restaurant adding a dry aging room on site (how soon before NBA players start adding these to their homes?). The wine list - 500+ bottles - is so extensive it is presented on an iPad via an app it took six people to create. And the view is spectacular, looking out on the riverfront through a twenty-two-foot glass wall that may cause a moment of somber reflection... before the bachelor party houses some Jamison shots and Lollipop Lamb Chops.

Venue Tip:

Need a power breakfast to kick-start the day? Come here for their insanely thick Breakfast Sandwich or incredible New York Strip & Eggs. And do NOT skip the hash browns.

The Good:
Everything is good - literally everything.
The Bad:
With great steak and wine come great responsibility - specifically the responsibility to charge accordingly. See the four dollar signs? That might be generous.
