If you’re going to launch a franchise, the original better be something special - like the first location of In-n-Out in Baldwin Park or the first installment of The Fast and The Furious. The James Chicago launched a brand of modern luxury boutique hotels that deliver the very best of what Chicago’s downtown hotels have to offer: stylish design, impeccable service and insane comfort with an incredible location right off the Magnificent Mile. The James may not have the party vibe of a place like theWit or the Hard Rock but it makes up for it with bachelor party favorite Primehouse being right downstairs and the proximity to some great bars.

Venue Tip:

Go big with a two-bedroom 1,400-square-foot Penthouse Loft. You’ll be happy you have the space and the highest floor available.

The Good:
Incredible staff. David Burke’s Primehouse just downstairs. Spacious rooms. 2PM checkout!
The Bad:
The view, which is of other buildings. It’s not a raging place so have a next stop in mind.
