N9NE Steakhouse

N9NE Steakhouse

440 W Randolph St
(between Canal St & Riverside Plz)

Sure N9NE Steakhouse touting the fact that they won AOL 2010 Best Steakhouse in the City of Chicago is akin to Arsenio Hall once calling you the next big comic, you can’t ignore that this steakhouse was also Recommended in the first Chicago edition of the prestigious Michelin Guide. And those of you who have visited our Las Vegas Steakhouse list know that N9NE figures prominently in that city as well. What this restaurant does well is combine quality meat and solid service with an incredibly sexy vibe that makes it a great spot for the bachelor party dinner. And while true Chicagoans will bemoan your not going to one of the more “classic” joints, you’ll feel better about the call as you enjoy tender cuts of beef and casual conversation with the scantily clad ladies heading upstairs to Ghostbar.
Venue Tip:

Ghostbar, located on the upper level of N9NE, is a chic ultra-lounge that is a solid option for post-dinner partying. Like its Vegas brethren it can be heavy on the d-bag factor but it pulls solid talent. As always though, plan on locking down a booth or table for maximum fun.

The Good:
Great for those wanting to get away from the “old-school” Chicago experience and have an upscale meal at a hip joint.
The Bad:
Like a 40-something guy hitting on the college chick at the bar, sometime N9NE seems like it is trying too hard.
