Georgian Terrace Hotel

Georgian Terrace Hotel

659 Peachtree St NE
(404) 897-1991

Celebrating its 100th birthday in 2011, the Georgian Terrace Hotel is still rolling along in style, like the cool old rich guy who rocks a smoking jacket and pocket watch with a flair you can only envy. Located conveniently in Midtown, you may worry that this place is a little too nice for the bachelor party when you cruise through the lavish lobby. But the second you step into your well-appointed suite the concern will fall away as you guys plan all the debauchery that can be done. And if you are smart enough to ask for a room with a washer/dryer (yes they have those) you’ll come home smelling not of sin and baby powder but of Downy freshness and a “clean” conscience.

Venue Tip:

Book Penthouse 2. It’s 2,425 square feet over two levels with two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a den, and a kitchen. You’ll be rolling in style.

The Good:
Rooms are huge, especially if you go with a suite. The hotel has free WiFi. The pool... when it is warm out.
The Bad:
If you’re going to drive, parking here is a bit pricey and is cash only! The property was was built in 1911 so its age can show.

Price: $$

Best Feature: Besides the suites? The rooftop pool, with a 360-degree view of the city.

Vibe: The Guggenheim in NYC on First Fridays. Classy but also fun.

Good Place to Party?: Only in your suite or for a quick drink. You’re not hanging here all night.
