Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

866 W Peachtree St NW
(678) 412-2400

The Renaissance Atlanta midtown is kind of like the popular lacrosse player you knew in high school; it does most things right and can be a good time but at the end of the day it’s just sort of... vanilla.
That’s not to say this place doesn’t have some solid pro’s for your Bachelor Party (we don’t mean professionals, you dirtball): for starters, it’s adjacent to the ever popular Rooftop 866, a convenient hot spot. The hotel’s daily wine happy hour means you can chug some spirits before hitting the hard stuff, plus wine tends to draw in the females. And because it’s a member of the Marriott family you still get the quality service that comes with the brand. It’s a solid, if unremarkable, choice for you and your crew.

Venue Tip:

The second you arrive send the Best Man to the Publix (grocery store) and big liquor store around the corner for all the necessities. Better than the late-night mini-bar raid.

The Good:
Located in the center of it all so travel is minimal. Service is top notch so they won’t mind when you stumble in trying to find your room at 3AM.
The Bad:
Food options won’t impress you and no free wi-fi make maintaining touch with the outside world a bit tough.

Price: $$$

Best Feature: Close to Ga Tech so you get some of their co-eds out for a ‘classy’ night.

Vibe: Not hip, not square. Just a hotel.

Good Place to Party?: Surprisingly, yes. Hit the Rooftop 866 if you want to stay local.
