Sun Dial Restaurant

Sun Dial Restaurant

210 Peachtree St NW
(404) 589-7506
The Sun Dial is for those of us who want to kick off the bachelor party evening with a 85-second ride in an exterior glass elevator cab to a tri-level revolving restaurant with 360 degree views of the Atlanta skyline. And, let’s be honest here, who doesn’t want to do that? But seriously folks, the food here may not be other-worldly, but the Sun Dial is all about the experience. And we at Bachelor10 kinda dig the throwback vibe: revolving restaurants were once the hippest thing around, a sign of the dawning space age when rockets and robots were going to transform our world and everyone dressed like they do on the show Mad Men. These days it’s all Applebees and iPods.  Well, we say don that fedora and step back in time... to 1972.

Venue Tip:

The Sun Dial Restaurant is all about the view. So make a point to get there while there still is one. Atlanta’s night sky is nice and all, but to truly get your money’s worth here we recommend getting at least one hour of daylight in before diving into dinner.

The Good:
The view. The view. The view. Which means you can focus on having a good time and consuming copious amounts of liquor rather than trying to stuff yourself on food. Hey, you’ll be eating a second dinner at 4 am anyway.
The Bad:
Though not bad, the place is not known for the food. If it’s culinary excellence you seek, you may want to try a place closer to sea level.
