Sometimes you can have it all. The Dauphine Orleans is an 18th century townhouse that has been renovated to become a fantastic luxury hotel. The rooms have some of that old-world charm for the whiny traditionalist in your group but they feature modern amenities that’ll make the rest of the bachelor party happy such as flat screen TVs, a mini fridge, Tempurpedic beds and jacuzzi tubs. The staff is solid if not a bit slow, but that’s to be expected when you are staying in the Big Easy. They are, however, incredibly knowledgeable and happy to provide you guys with the best options if for some crazy reason our Bachelor10 list didn’t do the trick. And be sure to check out May Baily's Place, once a bordello in the red light district and now an intimate hotel bar. Maybe history can repeat itself....

Venue Tip:

Book suites in either the Carriage House Courtyard or Hermann House Courtyard - they are bigger and are in solid locations.

The Good:
A nice gem of a spot that is both close to Bourbon and nice enough to satisfy every member of the bachelor party.
The Bad:
It may be a little too romantic (especially the suites) for a group of dudes in the Big Easy.

Good place to party? Like most smaller hotels in New Orleans, it is a good place to start your night but not where you want to stay. Definitely check out May Baily's Place though.

Best Feature: A great courtyard with a private saltwater pool.

Don’t Forget: Your computer, if you want to take advantage of the free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Distance to Bourbon St: 555 feet.
