Harrah's New Orleans brings the full-service gaming experience to New Orleans.  The casino is a large stand-alone structure whose hotel stands nearby across the street -- which is nice, as the Bachelor hopefully won’t get lost wandering through the casino looking for his room after a night of Tropical Isle Hand Grenades. The hotel is much nicer than what you’d expect from a Harrah’s, with decent-sized, quiet rooms, large bathrooms, and even jacuzzi tubs (perfect for storing cases of beer and ice -- you’re a group of dudes!). Of course you’re right by a casino, so when your crew is looking to kill a few hours during the day, you can saddle on up to a blackjack table where the minimums aren’t too bad and the drinks are free. Just be sure to get out of there once the Pit Boss starts calling you the Big Easy.

Venue Tip:

You can get half-off bottle service at their Masquerade Bar on Friday nights. Start off here right before you head out into the night.

The Good:
It’s a nicer hotel with great city views and a casino nearby. Plus it’s the perfect distance if you want a little separation between you and Bourbon St.
The Bad:
The rooms can get booked quickly when the concert venue has an act visiting. Plus you are sharing the hotel with the casino players.
