InterContinental New Orleans

InterContinental New Orleans

444 St. Charles Ave
New Orleans
Central Business District
(504) 525-5566

The InterContinental New Orleans occupies a wonderfully central location that can make it easy for the bachelor party to hit all the activities and fun the city has to offer. It is just two blocks from the French Quarter, four blocks from Harrah’s New Orleans, six blocks from the riverfront and – if you choose to go during Mardi Gras (an absolutely crazy call in our professional opinion) – a front row spot on the St. Charles Avenue parade route. And while the walk to the bars on Bourbon Street isn’t exactly quick, sometimes that 10 minute walk can serve you well, like when you are contemplating hitting Harrah’s for blackjack or wondering if you should call that mother-of-two you met at Rick’s Cabaret.

Venue Tip:

Check out the Sunday Jazz Brunch before you guys leave. Great food and a cool live jazz band. Definitely a great way to say goodbye to NOLA.

The Good:
A great option that puts a little distance between you and Bourbon Street. Plus it might encourage you to check out some other areas in NOLA.
The Bad:
Another bland option as a place to stay in a beautiful and historic city. It does the trick but that’s about it.

Good place to party? The lobby lounge and Pete’s Pub can be hit or miss. This is a bachelorette party-friendly place so you may just get lucky.

Best Feature: The St. Charles streetcar stop is right outside the door, making a trip to the Garden District quick and easy.

Don’t Forget: Comfortable sneakers as you’ll be walking more than usual here.

Distance to Bourbon St: 0.3 miles. Don’t worry, it’s easy to spot.
