If you’re slightly adventurous AND you’re able to get into the stellar Jacques-Imo's, then Maple Leaf Bar is a MUST DO.  It’s the perfect combo if you want a night away from Bourbon Street yet don’t quite want Frenchmen Street (Google it).

Casual, with a small patio, and tin everywhere (don’t ask us; just look at the ceilings and apparently the beers!?). But if you are traveling this far, you’re coming for the music, which starts nightly after 10pm. If you seek a particular sound, look up their schedule, but it’s generally going to be solid. Add to that a reasonable cover and an excellent vibe and the Maple Leaf is a great bachelor party call.

Venue Tip:

Plan ahead and bring some numbers for cab companies as you will NOT be walking back to the hotel. Make sure everybody has them programmed into their phones for when you inevitably lose someone.

The Good:
Well it’s cheap, the music is great and, If you fancy the challenge of college girls, it’s pretty close to Tulane. Just brush up on your Poli Sci.
The Bad:
It’s out in a neighborhood you will not recognize so keep that in mind as you wander off after a co-ed.
