Pat O’Brien’s is a New Orleans institution IF you are a drunk tourist - and let’s be honest, you guys probably are. So belly up and order a round of the most popular liquor concoction in NOLA - the hurricane. Sure, you’ll be packed in tight and surrounded by people getting slammed on rum and ungodly amounts of sugar but hey, it’s the Big Easy.
And while the hordes of drunk dudes can be annoying just remember: the ladies also know it’s the most popular spot and tend to like sweeter drinks. Just park the bachelor party next to the group of girls with the reddest mouths; they’ve been here the longest. It’s like the Biography Channel for drunks!

There’s great outdoor seating and some cool indoor rooms, but opt for the inside piano bar. Just get there early to get a good seat and tip the player generously to hear anything you want - so much fun, you’ll forget you’ve heard “Piano Man” six times.
The Good:
It’s smack dab in the center of everything, so it makes for a great meeting place when you all inevitably get separated later in the night. The Bad:
It’s often a little too crowded and hurricanes can be quote overrated, but you still have to go. Vote Up/Down:
Price: $$
Group Size: Any
Music: Live
Outdoor Seating: Yes
Alcohol: Full Bar
Signature Drink: Hurricane
What to wear: Anything! You’ll be indoors & outdoors and on Bourbon Street so anything goes.
