If you’ve come to NOLA with music in mind, be sure to hit this New Orleans mainstay.
Before finding its destiny, Tip’s served as a gambling house, gymnasium, and brothel, and on a good night it might serve as all three for you. But it’s trule known for the music acts it draws through its doors, everybody from Afroskull to Zu Zu Mud.

It’s a big venue, so you can find plenty of areas for your bachelor party to take over, including an upstairs where you don’t have to scream your orders.  Some locals complain about the lack of seats, but you can sit when you’re dead (or dead inside your cubicle back home) so head to the bar for shots and Abitas.

Venue Tip:

Call ahead to find out about their free shows (many of which happen in the summer). And don’t forget to rub the Professor's head for good luck when you walk in.

The Good:
Need we mention the music yet again?
The Bad:
Given that it’s among the most famous venues around it can get crazy crowded. But you’re here to dance and drink, so who the heck cares?
