Pier 66a @ West 26th Street

The Frying Pan has a wide array of benefits: 1) It’s on the water, which is amazing during the warmer months. 2) It’s outdoors, which is outstanding during the warmer months. 3) People come in droves-- including great female talent-- during the warmer months. 4) It’s a fun happy hour with decent food that turns into a scene with dancing and great beats when the sun really goes down. (5) You’re on a boat... with hot chicks... drinking mixed drinks... on the Hudson River. Clear? If your bachelor party is in NYC when the weather is above 60 degrees, the same time of year girls are trying to achieve that first tan of the season, most people in the know will say that you can’t beat the Frying Pan. The good news is that the boats are moored in place so if you get seasick... it’s the drinks not the river.

Venue Tip:

If you go for the happy hour portion, get there by 5pm or you will have a tough time getting a table (6pm to avoid line). Also, if a willing female invites you to see the galley below decks... go.

The Good:
Outdoor seating, cold buckets of beer, full bar, bar food, plenty of ladies, mix of happy hour and DJ dancing, and no cover which means you'll have enough cash leftover to bail the Bachelor out of jail when he dives overboard after one too many.
The Bad:
Tough to get a table. Beware the alternative seating on the boat if you are an anti-sway, landlubbers.
