Grand Banks

Grand Banks

Pier 25, Hudson River Park
(N. Moore St. at West S)
New York
(212) 960-3390

Grand Banks is one of our favorite new-ish bars in the city.  With an unbeatable view from a boat docked off Pier 25, you’re sure to see a great sunset and be able to take a respectable bachelor party photo that you can actually send home to your lady (big assumption on our part, we know).

The oysters and lobster roll (with Old Bay seasoned chips!) are fantastic, and the drinks – though limited – are quite tasty.

If you like the Frying Pan but are looking for something a little more upscale for your sophisticated tastes, we know you’ll love Grand Banks.

Venue Tip:

Ideally get there by 5pm on a sunny day to to avoid a possible line and leave right after sunset (as it often gets windier and colder).

The Good:
You can yell “I’m on a boat!” while watching the sunset.
The Bad:
The boat doesn’t actually leave the dock and it can get a bit rocky and windy.
