Solas has a lot of what you look for in a bachelor party spot.  A solid bar with some good lounge seating and a few separate rooms that could keep you busy for a while.  Plus it is often packed with talent on the weekends.  The clientele trend younger for the diaper snipers but it has a good mix given the neighborhood. The DJ is usually solid with different kinds of music playing to keep the fun vibe going. Add in reasonably priced, monstrously sized drinks and awesome happy hour price every night 4-8p (we’re talking $4 for huge beers, drinks, etc.) and you’ve got a great spot for your party to do some damage.

Venue Tip:

This place comes highly recommended for birthday parties so feel free to pretend you’re with someone else's birthday party for a little while.

The Good:
No cover. Good for groups. Reasonably priced. Cool neighborhood.
The Bad:
The drinks are good but not always spectacular so you might want to stick to shots or find the right bartender.
