The Standard High Line

The Standard High Line

848 Washington Street
(between 13th St & Little W 12th St)
New York
West Village, Meatpacking District
(212) 645-4646
You’ve likely heard The Standard High Line stories by now… People stripping in front of the windows facing the High Line. “That insane thing” that happened last week at the Boom Boom Room. Smashed celebs passed out in elevators. Well it’s all true, and it’s all Standard here.

The LA hotspot dropped into NYC like a drunken bachelorette demanding not to be ignored and your bachelor party should heed her call. The Standard High Line makes it easy for your crew to party with ease, either on property or off. Just make sure you remember to draw those shades.
Venue Tip:

If you plan to hit the rooftop for sunset drinks – with the prerequisite female fans of the sunsets – get there early. Prime real estate goes fast and those with it live like kings.

The Good:
A hot location near a ton of action with multiple popular bars on site. Comfortable beds for crashing. The High Line is right there for the tourists in the group.
The Bad:
The price is indeed high, especially for rooms this size. Peek a Boo showers might not be a favorite of dudes sharing rooms. And be aware of the insanely slow elevators. Also, it’s still rather hard to get into the Boom Boom Room after 9pm as you need to be on the list.
