Yankees Game

Yankees Game

1 East 161st Street
The Bronx
(718) 293-4300

It may no longer be the House That Ruth Built, but the team still has rich history and the stadium still rocks with its festive crowd. Plus, the Yankees routinely spend ~$200 million on their team so you know you’re going to see some All-Star players. Sitting out in the sun at Yankee Stadium is tough to beat anywhere. There are tons of options on seats, from bleachers to upper deck to the bars and restaurants within; so do a little research with your party beforehand and buy tickets ahead of time.

Venue Tip:

You can actually take a boat up the East River to see the Yankees for $25, drinking all the way. Book seats on The Yankee Clipper and travel to the game in style.

The Good:
Perennially a top five team in baseball. Raucous, knowledgeable crowd. Monument park is a treat if you are a fan of the game. The food is outstanding.
The Bad:
It’s expensive as far as baseball goes. Games do sell out so get your tickets ahead of time for bigger games.

Price: $$$

Accepts Credit Cards: Yes

Reservations Needed: Recommended. After all, this is The Yankees, not the Royals.

Alcohol Encouraged: Beer is to sports as peas are to carrots. Or HGH is to Roger Clemens.

Attire: Depends on the time of year, but generally dress light. And definitely don’t arrive in Red Sox colors.

Close to: Go to Stan’s bar before (and after?) the game for a couple Bud Lights and shots - the place will be raucous with rowdy fans as game time approaches.
