Listen, if you are planning a bachelor party in Miami at some point or another somebody is going to offer up the Delano. It’s a staple of the Miami Beach scene, like beautiful Cuban women or Dennis Rodman, and we’d be hard-pressed to argue against it. The hotel exudes swank and cool, from their all white indoor-outdoor lobby to their outdoor garden complete with life-sized chess board. The rooms might not be the most practical, and the scene is not for relaxing, but we don’t think that’s why you guys are down here (if you are, might we suggest choosing beautiful Mount Airy Lodge in the Poconos next time?). If you guys are staying at the Delano you’re going to be in the thick of the scene, surrounded by celebrities and wanna-be’s -- grab a drink and enjoy.

Venue Tip:

If you are staying there then you are on the guest list at The Florida Room. Go early for a drink and some live local music.

The Good:
You don’t have to go far for one of the best scenes in Miami. Actually, you just have to go down to the lobby after 7PM.
The Bad:
With the Good comes the d-bags who can flock to What’s Hot like moths to an Ed Hardy brand lamp. And drinks are priced accordingly (see: expensively).

Price: $$$$

Best Feature: Many might say the lobby at night but we prefer the less hectic vibe of the pool out back.

Good Place to Party?: Yes, though it depends on how you define “party”. Awesome cocktails and pretty people? Yes. Pole dancers and body shots? Move on down the block.

Pool Scene?: More chill by day than you’d think. At night it turns up.
