Nikki Beach is a Miami institution. And between the sand, the white cushion lounge chairs and the bikinis, this place has nearly every element you word-associate with “Miami.” (Okay, so we can’t guarantee D-Wade or Lebron will be there). Definitely a place to see-and-be-seen, Nikki Beach attracts some of the better-looking ladies in the whole area code -- and the food ain’t half bad either (in case you care). A lot of world-renowned DJs with German-sounding names make it a point to stop here, so make sure to check the website before going: you may be lucky/unfortunate enough to catch Deter pouting through a blazing house set. Hey, at least the girls are into it.
Venue Tip:
Get there early, eat, and try not to be noticed as the place shifts into nightclub mode and the doorman outside gets selective.
The Good:
This is one of the hottest night spots in one of the hottest night spot towns. The talent doesn’t disappoint. The Bad:
Nikki’s likes to turn people away; I guess it makes them feel special. But seriously, we know they mean well (read: keep the unstoppably-fine-girl-to-group-of-guys ratio in balance) so a massive bachelor party may have trouble getting in. Plan accordingly. Vote Up/Down:
