Truluck's Seafood Steak and Crabhouse

Truluck's Seafood Steak and Crabhouse

777 Brickell Ave
(305) 579-0035

Normally we here at B10 are loathe to recommend a chain restaurant, but Truluck’s has a regional flavor (stone crab is a specialty) and we assure you you will not find a Truluck’s at your local mall.  In fact, Truluck’s gives Joe’s Stone Crab a run for its money in the high-end, classic seafood and steak restaurant department. Plus they take reservations (unlike Joe's) and are said to have their very own dedicated fishing fleet, meaning the crab is as fresh as it gets (we’re not sure we believe it, but it’s a nice idea).  The $59 all-you-can-eat stone crab deal on Monday night is almost enough to make the Bachelor call in sick and extend his stay.

Venue Tip:

If you have a big party, book the Hemingway Room which fits up to 28 people.

The Good:
Live piano music and lively bar scene make this a fun place to hang pre- and post-meal.
The Bad:
The bar scene is lively, and, yes, a bit loud. Apparently some people like a little more peace and quiet while they dine (not us, mind you, but we thought we’d mention it).
