Fine-dining it ain’t, but Versailles has rightfully earned its reputation as a Miami Cuban institution.  The decor is somewhere between 50’s lunch counter and dingy hotel lobby, but don’t let that (or the wall-to-wall mirrors) deter you.  Versailles is an essential stop for any group trip to Miami -- particularly if said group happens to be a big, hungry bachelor party.  We like Versailles as a late-night stopover between the bars and the “club,” but it can easily double as a hungover brunch spot, as well.  And if you’re looking for a low-hassle, inexpensive group dinner, Versailles can usually squeeze a pretty big group in on short notice.

Venue Tip:

Get a Cuban coffee before heading out.  Why?  Because you’re in Cuban central and we’re pretty sure your Starbucks back home doesn’t do it like this.  Plus, you just ate enough to put a horse to sleep, and there’s still partying to be done.

The Good:
Ginormous menu, not expensive and open late.
The Bad:
This place is way touristy. Then again, so is the real Versailles. And you’re not going to Paris without seeing that are you?
