Courtyard Marriott

3311 North Scottsdale Road
Old Town
(480) 429-7785

You know what you’re getting at any Courtyard Marriott. Solid rooms, decent amenities, reasonable prices, but definitely not the party scene for your bachelor party. Not so different from the Hyatt Place, but slightly more cookie cutter; it too has free breakfast and wifi plus a computer for guest use. There’s a pool and Jacuzzi to lounge in after you workout in the small gym or, more realistically, for you to sneak into when you get back from the bars.

So it’s not luxurious, you’ll survive. Regardless, you’re here to make the bachelor’s weekend a memorable one. So get off your a**, exit the hotel, and go enjoy Old Town with the money you’ve saved.

Venue Tip:

A little birdie told us that they secretly have a few unique rooms with special amenities like a deck and hot tub. You can’t score if you don’t shoot. In other words, be nice and ASK away.

The Good:
It’s got what you need in the basics of lodging – solid service, comfy beds, affordable price, and walking distance to most hotspots.
The Bad:
Not luxurious by any stretch and you’re not scoring points if you try to bring a gal back.

Price: $$

Bar on premises: Eh, kind of, but it’s only while you’re waiting for the stragglers to fix their hair before hitting the club.

Lively daytime pool scene?: Lively would be stretching the truth.
