If the guys coming to the bachelor party are beer drinkers and especially like craft brews, there’s no better place to pull up a barstool in the Phoenix area than Four Peaks Brewing Co. in Tempe. Cows once roamed the Four Peaks property when it was a creamery years ago, and the brick building is, like, 120 years old. It’s a great bar to make the first stop of the night so the Bachelor and his friends can get their game on before moving on to something more hard-hitting. Like the bovines before it, the beer has won many international awards and the regular suds on tap range from IPAs and Bavarian-style wheat beers to Scottish-style ales and stouts. Plus there are always a couple of seasonal specialty brews. You won’t find a cooler spot to chill and if you want to grab a bite to eat, the menu will tell you what beer goes best with each food offering (note that your Garden Burger goes well with a dainty dress and some severe mockery from your friends).

Venue Tip:

The outdoor patio is shaded by trees and is outfitted with misters so sometimes sitting out there is actually cooler than sitting inside, not to mention a great view.  Plus, it’s non-smoking until midnight.

The Good:
If you’re going to eat while you imbibe, the Taproom Tenderloin is killer. It’s a sandwich made with filet mignon topped with crumbled blue cheese crumbled as well as onion straws, lettuce and tomato. Two words: da bomb!
The Bad:
The brewery isn’t as close to most of the hotspots but it’s still worth the visit. Though if you can’t make it to Tempe and prefer Scottsdale, then check out their Grill & Tap at 15745 N. Hayden Rd.
