Rusty Spur

7245 E. Main St.
Old Town
(480) 425-7787
No chance of having a Brokeback Mountain encounter at this hard-drinking, two-stepping saloon where real cowboys go to drink. Your bachelor party crew can don their Stetsons and hoot and holler all they want at this country bar that is one of Scottsdale’s oldest watering holes as well as being a registered historic landmark - you can almost hear Toby Keith singing “I Love This Bar.” And what’s not to love? Cheap drinks? Check. Live music every day from their house band Psychobilly Rodeo? Check. Good food? Check. Suhweet waitresses? Check and mate.

Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, come visit the Rusty Spur and you guys might discover that some of the women here are as cheap as the beer. So saddle up and head on out.

Venue Tip:

If you tip the band right, they have been known to play just about any song you request -- even if it’s not country. It might be worth requesting a Neil Diamond tune just to see how these cowboy musicians will put their own spin on it.

The Good:
The decor alone creates a party atmosphere at this bar with buffalo heads hanging over the crowd, license plates acting as wallpaper, wagon wheel chandeliers and images of John Wayne tacked to the wood paneling.
The Bad:
The food is great but lots of items go heavy on the beans. The Bachelor and his boys might want to go easy on the cowboy chili and pork green chili burrito unless they want to enact the campfire scene from “Blazing Saddles” later in the night.
