The Cosmopolitan joined a crowded field at the end of 2010. But despite the competition, this spot has a great location: with the new City Center on one side and the Bellagio on the other, the Cosmo is in the middle of the action. It’s got the glitz of the Wynn but with a younger, hipper vibe that is sure to attract a fair number of Sex-in-the-Wannabes out for their own pre-wedding fun (after all, this place is named after their favorite magazine). And when your party is not chasing down groups of well-heeled chicks with penis pops around their necks, you’ll find one of the better, more diverse selections of eateries of any hotel-casino on the Strip: tapas, steaks, gourmet Chinese-Mexican (no typo) – it’s all here. Surely you’ll find something the Bachelor wants to eat.

Venue Tip:

Check out the Marquee Dayclub: a lot like the Nightclub, only the dance floor is replaced by two pools and the VIP booths become Grand Cabanas with individual infinity pools. There is also an outdoor gaming area. The adjacent Bungalow Lofts each has three levels, complete with living quarters, a cabana and party deck with private pool on the roof that overlooks the Dayclub.

The Good:
Tons of top-tier restaurants: Bruce and Eric Bromberg, Costas Spiliadis, Scott Conant, David Myers, José Andrés and Todd Mark Miller all have spots here. We have no idea who these people are.
The Bad:
Sometimes you just want some greasy late-night food to soak up all those shots, and Holstein’s, the high-ish end burger joint, is only open ‘till midnight.

Price: $$$

Clubs/bars on premises: Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, Chandelier Bar, Vesper Bar

Best Feature: The team that brought the world LAVO and Tao created the Cosmo’s Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub (how daring of them to go with a multiple-word name…). At 60,000 square feet, it’s sort of ridiculous – but what about this city isn’t?

Pool scene?: The Boulevard Pool has a pretty lively day scene, and allows you look down on the peons sweating along the Strip below. There’s often live music on the outdoor stage.
