Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House

3925 Paradise Rd
Las Vegas

Before you go thumbing your nose at the thought of eating at a chain steakhouse, keep in mind that Del Frisco’s has consistently been ranked among the best of Las Vegas on Yelp!, TripAdvisor, and (hey, wait a second). This gem is simply a classic steakhouse with its white tablecloths, heavy knives, and a large mahogany bar with live piano music and vocals; after spending a day or two on the Strip you’ll welcome the change. And the food will not disappoint: from the warm, freshly-baked bread you rip apart with your hands to the dinner salad graced with two of the most perfect pieces of bacon you’ve ever eaten all the way to the Lemon Cake desert. Oh, and there’s meat; damn good meat.

Venue Tip:

Head across the street to Firefly after dinner. Recognized as one of the best restaurants in town among Las Vegas locals, this tapas joint is always buzzing. Try one of their specialty mojitos before hitting on that table full of cocktail waitresses who just got off a 12-hour shift. They probably love bachelor parties.

The Good:
Del Frisco’s is an all-around excellent steakhouse experience, one that feels more like a great night at dinner than the typical “We’re in Vegas!” dinner. It’s quite refreshing.
The Bad:
Heading off-Strip is always a gamble when you have a group as it requires a bit of extra effort. Make sure there’s a post-dinner plan in place to keep everybody happy.
