White-trash has given American Culture some truly underappreciated national treasures, like Kid Rock, Hillbilly Handfishin’, and all-you-can-eat dessert bars. Add to that the wonderful Vegas lazy river. Sometimes the best way a bachelor party can spend the day is not at a techno-infused dance party but floating drunkenly down the MGM Grand's one and a half mile-long liquid waterway, dodging waterfalls and indulging in buckets full of Bud Light Lime. Sure, it’s not the most glamorous choice but hell, sometimes you want to do some low-key partying during the day when you are rocking bottle service by night. And don’t worry, this pool scene gets plenty crazy so you’ll still have stories to bring back home (just keep any comments about the bachelor out of it; after all, what happens in Vegas…).

Venue Tip:

Don’t feel like paying $20 to rent an inner-tube? That seems weird since you are paying $10 for a Bud Light but OK, just take a lap around the pool and you’re sure to find one or two discarded floatation devices.

The Good:
It’s hard not to have a good time on a lazy river. Plus it is right outside Wet Republic so you can come here before or after that scene.
The Bad:
Don’t expect this river to be lazy; most people are here to lounge in a tube and get wasted. And the clientele might be a step or four below in hotness than what you would find at Marquee or The Palms.
