Tipsy Pig

Marina, Cow Hollow

There’s few better neighborhoods than the Marina for giggling gangs of girls fresh out of the Pac10. Sometimes it feels as though these chicks’ get a Greyhound ticket to San Francisco’s Marina District upon their deactivation from the sorority. And they all– at one point or another– seem to make their way to the Tipsy Pig, a relatively-recent addition to the Chestnut Street, the Marina’s main commercial drag. But this British pub-styled bar/restaurant has more to offer than just young, self-conscious hotties: the bar staff is friendly and makes a pretty imaginative bunch of original drinks, and the food is pretty great.

Venue Tip:
Start on the back patio for a little dinner, and hold your prime real estate as the girls stream in for Chablis.
The Good:
Always packed with people ready for conversation. The Bad:
The place is not huge so getting your group together in one part of the bar could be a challenge depending on the night. Vote Up/Down:
