The Kress - CLOSED

6608 Hollywood Blvd
Los Angeles
(323) 785-5000

The Kress has had more than two solid years of parties now and is still going strong.  Perhaps past its prime now, the club remains a solid choice for its accessibility and well-known roof-top bar (surprisingly rare in Hollywood!).  The Kress is huge, so bachelor parties have much to choose from: bar and pan-Asian restaurant on the main floor, proper club with snakeskin-wrapped bar downstairs, and rooftop terrace with VIP sectionals and dazzling views of Hollywood on top.  The crowd has fallen off a bit from the celebrity heights of 2008, but bachelor parties will find there’s less hassle in this multi-story party palace.

Venue Tip:

If a younger crowd or more urban mix is your thing, then the Kress is for you.  Definitely check on the music and promoters ahead of time and consider a table on the roof as a haven from the party around you.

The Good:
Bachelor parties will be anything but bored between Kress’ three levels. Also you can get in without bottles and bribes!
The Bad:
While a Kress crowd will definitely bring some hotties, it has also been known to bring some shady types.
